Chicken’s Custom DREAM House: Built by Kon 🎥🐕✨

Ahhh!
This is a story I’ve been so excited to share…

A few weeks ago, Chicken got the ultimate surprise, a custom-built dog house created by the amazing Kon! @KonFilms 🧡


If you haven’t already seen his video, he captured the whole process of designing, building, and bringing this palace to life. I think he’s actually Dog Santa in disguise... because who else makes magic like this happen?!? 🎅🏻

Building a Luxury Dog House:

This was a real once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. When Kon first reached out and said he’d been thinking of Chicken and how he would like to do this project, I couldn’t believe it. With Chicken being a nervy little soul, Kon said, “We’ll make it work for her,” and he absolutely did. 🐔 

He took every step to make sure she felt comfortable, and because of that, she got to experience something completely new (and crazy amazing!) which is something else I’ll always be grateful for. As someone who loves giving her the chance to experience new things, while always making sure she feels safe and happy doing them, this was honestly overwhelming in the best way. It made me so emotional to see her not just cope, but absolutely love it!

AND OH MY GOODNESS... THE HOUSE!✨

Where do I even start?! The little Chicky details are what make it so special! A second floor with its own balcony (perfect for surveying her kingdom), vinyl flooring, and even a personalised cartoon Chicken window!!

Inside? A TV that plays her favourite show Friends, a whole stash of carrot toys, and even rabbit pate - her dream housewarming snack! 🐰

From the bright colours to the custom stencil, he thought about her. He even added a guinea pig sugar skull design to tie in my love for guinea pigs and Chickens Mexican roots - the kind of thoughtful detail that makes this SO much more than “a dog house.”

I can’t thank Kon and his team enough. They are some of the kindest, most talented, and hardworking people. The amount of time, thought, and care that goes into every single one of his videos is unbelievable, and it really shows. He doesn’t just build things, he creates experiences full of heart, creativity, and joy!

And of course, Banjo, Nora, Weasel, and Mort  - Thank you for SO much for being such a special part of the day and coming to the 'housewarming'! I had the pleasure of adventuring with these four when I was their dog walker, and both me and Chicken adore them (and their hoomans!) more than words can say. Having them in our lives, and being able to call them friends, is something we feel so lucky for every single day. 💛

What an amazing experience to be part of that also celebrates the joy and love dogs bring us, and for moments that make them feel just as special as they make us feel.

We’re so grateful for the time, patience, and kindness Kon showed us from start to finish.  It’s the kind of thing you don’t even dream of dreaming about, and words will never be enough to show my gratitude.
