🎃 A Day at the Pumpkin Patch!

📍Cotswold Farm Park

Autumn is officially in full swing and we couldn’t resist a trip to Cotswold Farm Park Pumpkin Patch to celebrate. 🍂

It’s one of our favourite dog-friendly spots this time of year!

We chose to visit on the second weekend of the event, arriving at 10:00 am. One thing we love about Cotswold Farm Park’s Pumpkin Patch is that it not only opens earlier in the season than most, but also opens early in the day, perfect for beating the crowds (especially since Chicken’s a little on the shy side).

From the moment we arrived, she was sniffing each and every pumpkin and as you can see, there were plenty! We were also lucky enough to have the patch practically to ourselves! 🎃

🍓 Pick of the Patch: Strawbearies

Chicken wore her Strawbearies Poochie Suit to keep the chill away, the colours of her almost looked made for the location. The yellow and red capture that autumn warmth, while the blue pops out perfectly against the pumpkins. Total patch perfection! 🎃

    Check out Strawbearies here!
Cosy, cute and might even earn your pup a few “awws” at the patch!

The entire pumpkin field is full of photo opportunities, not just for hoomans but for pups too. Chicken had the best time rolling around on haybales and admiring the props. They’ve really thought of everything: wheelbarrows, a carving station, face painting, a go kart track and plenty of food stalls to keep everyone happy (and warm!).

There were so many different types of pumpkins to choose from, from the classic bright oranges to quirky whites. We ended up picking a ‘Casperita’ and a ‘Sweet Lightning'!

We love that Cotswold Farm Park labels the pumpkin varieties, so you can actually learn what you’re picking, ideal if you want to cook them later like we do! Each has a little tag or sign describing their flavour and best use.

    🐾 Chicken’s Pumpkin Patch Review:

10/10 sniffs, So many pumpkins, hardly any crowds in the morning, and loads of photo ops for cute memories. The ground was soft, the humans were friendly, and the snacks smelled elite. Would wag here again  🎃 🍂

Access to the pumpkin patch is included in Farm Park tickets on event days, or you can book for just a patch visit. They also have late openings with a trail, live music and more. Please note, dogs are not allowed into the farm park itself, but are welcome in the patch, shop, restaurant and bar.
